Public discussions and consultations concerning the land reform in Ukraine
In Ukraine, a broad public discussion and consultation concerning the draft law of Ukraine “On Land Market” continues, the results of such public consultations, all suggestions and comments should be taken into account. New visa regime in Ukraine
On June 1, 2011, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved Rules for issuing entry and transit visa for Ukraine. Also, this resolution amends the rules of entry, exit and transit across Ukraine for foreigners and stateless persons. New rules regulate the procedure of issuance of entry and transit visas of Ukraine for foreigners and stateless persons, as well as storage and transmission of the visa label blanks to competent bodies, destruction of visa labels blanks and documents that give the right to cross the state border within the local border traffic. STD: improved automatic procedure for VAT refund
Law number 3609, which amended the Tax Code, expanded the circle of taxpayers who are entitled to automatically receive of VAT refund.
This was stated by Deputy Chairman of State Tax Department (STD) of Ukraine Alexander Klimenko. “However, the introduced changes will not affect the amount of VAT amounts, declared by taxpayers to the refund. Pension reform has been blocked
Today Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn stated that the reason for not signing the law on pension reform was the need to make it a number of technical refinements, the need which was in preparation for signing the law. And they all will be considered very soon. But really, this “clarification” are not technical in nature.
The fact that during the voting for the bill number 7455, is aimed at legislative support pension reform, not rejected an amendment number 40 made by the MP Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The essence of this amendment is that pensions are calculated according to the Law “On Mandatory Pension Insurance”, using the average salary of employees working in the fields of economy of Ukraine for 2006-2008 shall be calculated from January 1, 2012 with using the average salary for 2009.
