Investing in Ukraine

Investments into Ukraine can be performed in such forms:

• Partial participation in the enterprises which are created together with Ukrainian legal and physical persons, or buying a part of workable plants;
• Creation of the enterprises which completely belong to foreign investors, branches or buying in the property the whole workable plants;
• Acquisition of immovable or mobile property by direct reception of property and property complexes or in the form of shares;

The court decisions are not acts that are not subject to the application of commercial courts

Resolution of the Plenum of 26.12.2011 № 18, the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine explained that acts of state and other agencies that do not apply the economic court (Article 4 COD) may be acts of central executive bodies, local state administrations, local governments or other bodies which by their status are not public. President signed a law that increases some taxes and fees

January 10, 2012, the President signed the Law “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine on the revision of certain taxes and fees”, adopted by bill number 9356.

Law provides for raising taxes and fees including the consumer price index and producer price index of industrial products provided by the Cabinet of Ministers on 11.08.2010, № 701. [Read more]

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has changed the rules for issuing visas to enter Ukraine

Resolution № 1340 of 26.12.2011r. Cabinet amended the rules for issuing visas to enter Ukraine and transit through its territory. The said document in a new defined term “receiving party”. In particular, the following subjects carried any Ukrainian company registered with the procedure established by law (previously it was only a joint or foreign).
