A law firm aims to take its practice to the next level by appointing its new lawyer.

Clough & Willis, based on Market Street, Little Lever, with a further office in Bury, has now appointed Ryan Browne, who previously worked in Co-operative Legal Services for five years, to its private client service.

Mr. Browne’s new role will see him focus on drafting wills as well as administering estates, grant applications, inheritance tax returns, adjudications and enduring powers of attorney.

He said: “During my first interview, it quickly became apparent that Clough & Willis was a company that had established its roots in the local community and shared my strong customer-focused way of working.

“I wanted my next career move to reflect my values and I knew instantly that was the right fit.”

Mr Browne received his first class law degree from London Metropolitan University and completed his legal practice course at the University of Law in 2019.

He will report to Clough & Willis partner and head of its private client team, Nicola Finbow.

She said: “Ryan has an excellent track record in the private client industry and is committed to providing an unwavering level of client service.

“This approach, as well as his technical knowledge, really stood out, so we are delighted to welcome him.

“I’m confident he will become an integral part of the business.”
