We are, however, disappointed by their continued disgraceful and reprehensible attacks on Ms. Spears and others. We look forward to continuing our thorough investigation into the conduct of Mr. Spears and others over the past 13 years as he raised millions of dollars from his daughter’s estate, and look forward to take Mr. Spears’ affidavit in the near future. ”

“It is common for a case like this to be sent to the DA’s crime unit,” Rosengart’s statement read. “To its credit, the sheriff’s department has already acknowledged that the case, even as alleged, involved an ‘extremely minor’ or ‘very minor’ offense, obviously without ‘any injury’. There was also no strike, and if it hadn’t involved Britney Spears, it would never have been reported at all. ”
