Leading law firm Ison Harrison wins prestigious industry accolade from Yorkshire Legal Awards


LEADING Ison Harrison law firm, with offices in Guiseley, Otley and Ilkley, has been named Law Firm of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, one of the legal industry’s most prestigious events.

Victory goes to Ison Harrison in the mid-sized business category and this is the second year in a row that the company has been shortlisted for the award.

The awards ceremony took place last night (October 6) at New Dock Hall in Leeds.

The recognition coincides with a major milestone for Ison Harrison who earlier this year became wholly employee-owned after the three shareholder directors agreed to sell the business to an employee stock ownership trust which now owns the business. for the benefit of all 230 employees.

With a network of 17 offices and an annual turnover of over £17 million, the firm has grown into a well-known regional practice offering the widest range of legal services to thousands of individuals and businesses across the region each year. The company opened its new office in Wakefield in early September and plans for expansion are forthcoming.
