Ludlow and Shropshire law firm celebrates awards for its lawyers



LUDLOW law firm celebrates another strong performance in two highly regarded national guides, retaining its position as one of the region’s most respected firms.

The Shropshire Company also has offices across the border in Wales.

Lanyon Bowdler has a number of departments and individual lawyers highlighted in The Legal 500 and Chambers UK guides.

The Legal 500 Guide is based on feedback from clients, lawyers and professionals, while the Chambers UK Guide ranks law firms based on independent research and client interviews, so both guides present a comprehensive assessment of a firm’s expertise and service delivery.

Lanyon Bowdler was among the best performing firms in the last edition of The Legal 500 in 14 categories in the West Midlands and one in Wales, and has 44 recommended lawyers, including 18 new to the guide this year.

The law firm is listed in the first level of the guide for agriculture and estates, and clinical neglect in the West Midlands.

Other recognized departments include Commercial Litigation, Family, Personal Injury, Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate, Corporate and Commercial Property, Commercial Property, Litigation Trusts and Probate, Crime, Collection debt, education, employment and planning.

Meanwhile, the Chambers UK guide highlights nine of Lanyon Bowdler’s departments, six of which are in the upper band and 14 individual lawyers.

Head of Clinical Negligence, Beth Heath; experienced clinical negligence lawyer, Emma Broomfield; and Head of Family Law Sue Hodgson have all moved to Chambers UK Guide Group 1, with Collaborative Lawyer Lisa Grimmett moving to Group 2.
